Ari R. Madoff draws from his diverse experience representing clients in areas including commercial litigation, labor & employment law, corporate compliance, collections, contract law and probate. In addition to representing clients in state and federal court, Mr. Madoff has appeared before boards of arbitration and mediation in a variety of matters.

Mr. Madoff began his legal career as an associate at a Chicago-based firm specializing in Securities law. Mr. Madoff assisted in Securities Law matters while also focusing on developing his expertise in handling labor and employment matters, commercial litigation and legal and regulatory issues facing small businesses. In addition to assisting existing businesses, Mr. Madoff has assisted aspiring entrepreneurs by advising them on business formation, financing and corporate compliance issues. Many clients who have consulted with Mr. Madoff in regards to business formation have later retained Mr. Madoff's services to assist with ongoing business and legal issues.

Mr. Madoff received his J.D. degree from Tulane Law School. As a member of the Tulane Law Clinic, Mr. Madoff presented oral argument before the Supreme Court of Louisiana and lectured on matters of constitutional criminal procedure at the Louisiana Judicial College. Mr. Madoff has a B.A. cum laude in History and Communications from Tulane University where he was a Paul Tulane Scholar and recipient of the Glendy Burke Medal for Speech and Oratory. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Madoff was a legal assistant in the tax and criminal law departments of a large Chicago law firm. In addition, Mr. Madoff has work experience in the fields of journalism, advertising and small business consulting.

Mr. Madoff is active in a number of professional organizations including the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Decalogue Society and various charitable and not-for profit organizations in the Chicagoland area. He is a member of the Illinois Bar and the Federal Bar for the Northern District of Illinois.
